Jarreraser - Sun Jun 29, 2008 4:35 pm

HI all, I'm interested in completing my JMJ cassette tape collection (have pretty much all the major Vinyl releases save for a few, so I'm concentrating on cassettes... strange, I know, but I feel like something is missing from my JMJ collection!))...

Firstly, I'd appreciate it if Jarre fans could answer the following question for me:

Were any JMJ albums released in cassette format after Metamorphoses?

The answer to that question would be very helpful in my quest, since I'm not entirely sure what's missing from my cassette collection!

Thanks in advance!

you're taking this info from my website? Well, I have the "Sessions 2000" album on tape, released in Poland, and looking pretty genuine..... But apart from that, there's really no other album released on tape after Metamorphoses....

Finaero - Sun Jun 29, 2008 5:23 pm

As well as AERO from China (well, you're listing it with the genuine ones) ;)
CLUBMIX - Sun Jun 29, 2008 5:25 pm

yeah, you're right... my fault. Well, as long as noone proves me wrong, they're both listed unter their respective albums

Damn... now I need to look for Sessions 2000 on tape :!:

Hi

I'm looking for some books:
- Concert pour le Pape - photobook
- Akropolis - photobook
- The Twelve Dreams of the Sun - programme

CLUBMIX - Thu Jul 03, 2008 11:15 am

eBay is always a good place to find them. Especially the ebay sellers melufee and uff123 often do sell special stuff like books and programmes

Has somebody still "superfluous" item for selling?

I have bought Interior music and Geometry limited edition last month. (Don´t ask me what about this think my wife :D ).

So around 130 EUR incl.P&P will be accepted for me and my family  Is it reasonable price for sellers?

Finaero - Wed Sep 10, 2008 4:47 pm

130 e for a silly CD inside a cheap cardboard cover has 120 e too much :P
Kanta - Wed Sep 10, 2008 5:05 pm

Thank you very much for your opinions! So it means 100 EUR incl. P&P is OK ... or the "correct" market price is still lower?

That´s true that I ´m not thirsty for original Sublime like for original Interior or limited Geometry album.

I can wait for better selling price.

Nico_Noyau - Thu Sep 11, 2008 1:46 pm

The market price is between 180€ and 230€, the last one on ebay sold for 230€ and was in a really bad shape...
I'll ask my friend if he accepts 130€ including shipping, and let you know ;)

I'm currently looking for the following items, but I guess some of them are MEGA rare and MEGA expensive

Black Bird (Italian 7"), Foggy Joe
Chronologie 6 (Hong Kong) CD single
Interior Music (CD)
The Superfly (7" from Angola)
The Superfly (7" from Mexico)
The Superfly (7" from Peru)
Popcorn (7" from Belgium)
Song for Tolerance (K7)
Les Granges Brulees (K7)
Les Granges Brulees (Canadian - Gamma - LP)

La Mia Legge (Italian LP)
Deserted Palace (LP)
Gallipoli (7" from Australia)
Moon Machine (flexidisc)
Oxygene (Dragger) (white LP)
Equinoxe (yellow) LP

GeeJee - Sat Nov 13, 2010 1:00 pm

Song for Tolerance K7 is almost impossible to find, but Interior Music does appear on eBay every now and then. Same goes for Chronologie 6 single. I didn't pay that much for that one... something like 10€ or so. Yes, I was lucky :D

I´m also looking for the Une Alarme Qui Swingue red vinyl, I know it´s a illegal pressing, but I find the track on the back (or front, The Chronologie 4 one :P ) very nice :D

Indeed! Prices on ebay go up to 800-850 euros. That's insane! So, either you have lots of money or you're a lucky guy to find it somewhere else for a bargain

shadow - Sat Nov 13, 2010 1:58 pm

I believe the father of one of my friends own's a copy, he was (still is) a fan of Jarre but doesn't have any space anymore and as I am a starting collector he wanted me to have a couple of his records, I already got Oxygene, Equinoxe, Magnetic Fields, Zig Zag Dance (Foggy Joe 7') and the 7' record of Les Granges Brulees. He told me that he had the La Cage and Deserted Palace records, but he sold the La Cage on Ebay and Deserted Palace he can't find anymore but he did note that he has not sold it yet :o
So I'm hoping for the best, but everytime I see his attic I Can't imagine why he can't find it :hypocrit:

And for howmuch can you actually get that HongKong CD €70,- is alot :|

Phil J. - Tue Nov 16, 2010 10:14 pm

It's hard to say how much the Hong Kong CD is worth as so few of them come up for sale. Jorge has been advertising his for months now and it hasn't sold so obviously he's asking too much. I suppose the question should be, 'how much are you willing to pay'? If you're willing to pay £20 then that is what it's worth (at least to you).

Anyone have any idea where one can get the China posters once available in the Sandbag version of the JMJ.com Official Store? I haven't seen them available anywhere since ...

Anyone knows where I can find this record. I know it was made for the Belgium JMJ Fanclub and there are about 500 piece's made... But it looks very nice and I'm a sucker for colored vinyl's anyway :P

BTW I just seen a photo of the record... Does the album woman get a sexchange when you place it onto a pickup :p:

Edit:
Anyone got any information about this record? I already own the Inédite version on a 12' blu record, but what's up with this 7', is it the same just a shorter version or something similiar?

Post subject: LP Chronologie and Oxygene 7-13
Hi Guys,

I'm looking for the albums Chronologie and Oxygene 7-13 on vinyl. (12" LP)
(I am not sure if the Oxygene album 7-13 was also available in 180 grams, or that it only was released as 180 grams, anyway I would be also interested in the 180 gr version)

The vinyl has to be in an Exc. or NM state ( http://www.yee.ch/Vinyl/vin_grading.htm ). The sleeve is also acceptable in VG. :)

I live in the Netherlands, I am willing to pay a decent price, but not the expensive prices on ebay currently  I can pay by Paypal, International Banktransfer.

Shipping (in a sturdy packing) would be ideal. (I can personally pick up in a 150 km radius from the South of Netherlands into Belgium or Germany)

Thanks for reading this.

shadow - Wed Aug 31, 2011 1:22 pm

I have both, but not willing to sell them sorry...
But the Oxygene 7-13 Vinyl is only avalible in 180Gr, so the quality is a step above most records, also the Chronologie vinyl appears quite ofer on Ebay for not that much actually... I recommend taking a look overthere for that one :)

Would love any JmJ pin badges or stickers.... especially from the CiC.

I think I may have seen some during the Belgian International fan convention in the late 1990s.

Anyone ever seen one or own any or wish to sell any ?

Hello,

I'm looking for a numeric version of the book "Concert pour le Pape" (Ed Hornus)
I see that it have only 32 page, so, i'm surprised that nobody didn't numerize it.

Thanks you,
Best regards.

Yes it shouldn't be too hard to digitize it. I'll let you know tomorrow. I'm in a digitizing spree
