Post subject: Hello, my name is Dave from Essex
Hello, my name is Dave and I'm from Essex in England, UK. I've been a fan of JMJ since I was 14, after watching Rendez-vous Houston on TV in 1986. I love all types of music but especially music that is dramatic, emotional and atmospheric. I own a couple of old synths and I used to play synth as well as bass guitar in bands over the last 10-15 years.
For the last few years I've been trying to make music using my computer and have been learning all about Cubase VST and all that goes with that. Mm, I still have a lot to learn - it can be a headache at times trying to find the source of a problem but I think I am finally making some progress. I do prefer the immediacy of the older analogue synths - I just don't like the fact they take up so much room!
I have been working on a cover of Equinoxe Part 4 that I might share.
Hope to chat to some of you in the near future on this great forum!

Hello Dave. I've had a listen to it over the racket that my 2 sons were making and it sounded excellent. I wish I was musically gifted.

Thanks for listening Paul. The racket probably covered over some of my errors
Do you practice any musical instruments Paul?
