Really? Woooow, if this is true!
Vozdelosvientos - Thu Jan 14, 2016 8:34 pm
It's scheduled for 2049
But it could be worse... they also announce a vinyl edition of Musik Aus Zeit Und Raum for the year 2475...

If this would happen I'd love to finally have The Sun on the album. Still terrible that wasn't released in album format and only the low quality TDOTS performance

Seemingly still two disc edition. I'm really hoping this turns out to be correct. We need more music of this album!

Also offering the Mini Disk. Defoe from 99 that release. Can't understand the 2 disk bit. Are Sony releasing full back catalogue?
Pat Gleeson - Mon Feb 15, 2016 8:25 pm
Given the Sony / JMJ catalogue history (and Polydor for that matter), I'll believe it when I see it ...

"Détails sur le produit
CD (1 janvier 1970)
Nombre de disques: 2"
Should we also trust this date as much as we trust the number of discs? ;)
shadow - Mon Feb 22, 2016 1:23 am
1 January 1970 is the start of the UNIX Time. It means that whoever had inputted the information into the database hadn't bothered including a date. Which is always automatically set to 0 (or 1 January 1970) if no information is given for one reason or another.
Pat Gleeson - Mon Feb 22, 2016 2:35 pm
Even if a release is in the offing, it wouldn't surprise me if it consisted of a 'Ditchwater' mastering re-issue on CD 1, and a disc of previously released remixes on CD 2, i.e. nothing new ...

I am aware where that date is coming from. And I think it is as relevant as that number "2".

Actually checked this one as well, it's still there!

Curious if it ends up being actually anything. Hearing The Sun in studio recording would be absolutely amazing!

I fear it may be a Ditchwater master on CD 1 and a disc of those awful remixes on CD 2 - if it get's released at all. Maybe I'm just being cynical, but JMJ's Sony reissues second time around don't inspire much confidence ...

Yeah I don't have much hope, but still some at least. As long as The Sun gets an official release they can do whatever else with the remixes. I actually like some of those, though most were very 'meh'. Just hoping there's a vinyl release this time around, the original CD release was loud, add ontop of that the 2017 loudness and we'll get a serious mess of a release.
