I remember reading a book with such a title (in fact that's translation from the title of the Polish edition, the original one is "A year to live") some years ago. The author - Stephen Levine - proposed the reader to live like if he/she had just a one year of life left. What does the idea come from? Many people being told that they will die soon change their life completely. They don't care about "what will the people say" anymore as they know it's the last chance for them to behave as they want, to realize their dreams, fulfil their expectations. So they divorce - or get married, resign from their jobs, break toxic relationships, go abroad, try extreme sports...
What about you? If you heard "I'm sorry to say it but you've probably no more than a year left" one day what would be your next steps?
If you think it's to private to write about it publicly - don't feel forced to do it.
I just guess the question is worth wondering, if you take it seriously and put some effort in imagining the situation, you might learn something about you...I observe that people often don't realize that what seems to be their goals, aren't really theirs. Sometimes they need an impulse to find it out...
As the Official Polish Jean Michel Jarre's fanclub announces, this holiday there is "The Jean Michel Jarre Tribute Concert" being organized as a part of Olsztynian Artistic Summer - OLA 2007.
The event will take place at the foot of the Olsztynian castle (in the castle moat to be exact) at 9 PM in 25th of August 2007.
The audience will have a chance to hear the new versions of the most popular Jean Michel Jarre's tracks performed by Radek Tymecki and Grzegorz Pałetko, vocally supported by the Olsztynian Choir Collegium Musicum. The music will be accompanied by specially prepared visualizations. Another attraction will be the professional laser show.
Writing that you associate me with the picture from the avatar doesn't encourage me to show my own, rather teh other way round, as that's my favourite Jean Michel's pic, he looks so rebelious in it <mmmm>
