And I think we rightly deserve a video of all the out-takes... you know... the bits that went wrong...

The whole lot should go onto a special 'collectors' edition dvd (or on the main dvd as an easter egg) and we have the awe-inspiring bloopers that made some of the concerts memorable...

Such as:

Claudes phone going off in Birmingham
The chain falling at the RAH
The chair failing (I couldn't believe that one and won't until I see it.... :D )
right up to and including the finger-achingly stupendous 'Oxy 5 @ 140bpm' from the other night...

We deserve (as fans) the best of the worst of the tour so far.... why? because we were there to see it.. we've talked about it and it's only fair that we're given the opportunity to (as Jarre keeps saying) 'share with you everything - mistakes and things going wrong...'

And it would be nice if there was commentary on it too... even if JMJ/crew have to beg for video clips - I know that some of you would without a moments hesitation :D

The RMI must work differently then

From the weblog:
"Francis had to play the Bass part at a crazy speed, 140 instead of 96 bpm. I had also to deliver the fastest chorus on the moog liberation of the tour; I shortened it because I thought that Francis was about to explode.."

I have beat-matched an mp3 of Oxy 5 with one posted on youtube (albeit a brief video) and believe me... it's a sure sign of professionalism when they can all keep up with one stray RMI with an apparent mind of it's own.... and that is just so worthy of a place on a collectors dvd... :D
