I can certainly understand where JMJ is coming from, it must have been really shitty to lose both parents and get divorced in such a short amount of time so I think the delay on the album is justified.

That was a real eye opener and a good interview

Smells like s**t to me if it's going to be a techno-meets-T and T fest.
I can understand if fans out there disagree - feel free, but if Vintage is the height of
expectations per the tracklist, I despair .....

I wait with some trepidation.

I only wishes are "Teo&Tea", "Ok, do it fast" and "vintage" from T&T (like you all know), but any other song must be the original version, not the remixed ones

That´s what I said: JMJ is not a machine without emotions, and life is not always just on the sunny side. I can`t understand people which called "fans" retire just because he did not published a new album for a long time. :|

I think I must clarify myself here somewhat.
I think there are good tracks from Teo and Tea that could add to the atmosphere of a concert such as outlined above. But what exactly is wrong with adding peerless classics like Orient Express, Calypso 1, Apregaitor, Magnetic Fields 4, the end of Magnetic Fields Part 1 etc. etc. etc.
As I said earlier, if Vintage is the height of one's expectations as an addition to the tracklist,
I fear a backlash of the proportions of the 1998 RV98 Nuit Electronic fiasco.
I can't help comparing China 1981 to China 2004 and seeing how he had fallen short in comparison. He showed his undoubted genius to the world on the Oxygene 2008 tour, and I feel he has fallen back to the 'sure thing' again.
Would I go to see a JMJ concert a la 2009-2011 again ?
I don't know. Before 2001 I wouldn't have thought twice about it.
I want to have the beauty of his music on show, to feel the lump in my throat like I felt in Marigny when I thought "this is what it's all about".
Oxygene 1, Equinoxe 1-3, Magnetic Fields 3, Ethnicolor, Oxygene 7 etc. etc. are examples of music I'm talking about.
When I hear Vintage I feel what the blazes am I doing here.
Of course there should be uptempo tracks played for balance - he has tracks such as I outlined at the beginning and more, why not play them ?
