Nothing new in this documentary. For about 90% it is just like Paroles & Musique/Making the Steamroller Fly; things we already know and images we 've seen before. The other 10% was like the track stories. For laymen, it's a a nice documentary I think.

Soundhunters was much more fun! Highly recommended!

Ah well, worst thing is that Youtube will delete the video thanks to the Sony ninjas.

I did something very simple (I also got the message saying the video was blocked):

This is the url you see:

Remove https://www. and then add ss

The new url will look like this:
ssyoutube.com/watch?v=aj-XUQ-aXKw#t=29m01s

You will be able to download the file to your hard disk :peacemaan:

(But why do you also copy the fim about the Rhein ? )

For me the funniest Scene was when he was together with the dog of Gary Numan on the floor

So, "A journey into sound"...
My favorite moments:
JMJ punching the ARP 2600 to get funny noises out of it
JMJ building the opening sequence of Close your eyes with a tape loop
C. Rampling evocating the first listening of Oxygene (before it was released) in her bath !
H. Zimmer talking about Maurice Jarre having that difficult relationship with JMJ
The friendly working atmosphere with G. Numan
The pictures of JMJ as a kid, most of them not seen before

Ok sounds fair enough given the fact he use to call his vintage gear "the old ladies" so... :P

Omg I was almost crying blood at that scene. I hope he doesn't break anything inside the ARP. :? :)

NO ! He told this Instrument would like to be manhandled, because he would be a Masochist

Also nice, Charlotte told about the Moment the first time she heard him playing "Oxygen" in their bathtub while she was pregnant with David. ....(He is a magnificent young man, the music did not hurt. )

Rip Gary Numan's dog. I remember the scene in the Journey into Sound documentary where JMJ is playing with him
