In an interview with Dutch music-blogger Muzikxpress, Jean-Michel Jarre mentions Electronica 3. He is considering continuing the Electronica project as a side project, not as main albums.

Interesting if this goes ahead. This probably might take years, just like the previous two.

JMJ mentioned the 'Electronica 3'-Project also in the Planet-Jarre-Podcast (Episode 4, Pos. 16:42).

Yes, true. He mentioned Ennio Morricone there.

Would be cool if we finally would get the David Lynch track they wanted to do and Travelator, Pt. 1&3.

I'm sure JMJ is looking forward to a couple of more years of people asking if Mike Oldfield and Vangelis are going to be on the album

I just saw Quentin Dupieux' latest film and I really hope JMJ will be working with him (he's Mr. Oizo) and do some brilliant silly things.

I interviewed him for two hours in his flat in Paris last Friday, and he said he was indeed working on Electronica 3. Marcus Miller and Röyksopp are possible collaborators.

Google Translation:
Have you gathered many people on your previous album, are there any voices or groups you would dream of working with?
There is still a lot, and that is why I will continue my project Electronica. Number 3 is in preparation

In a few days time. It's HUGE, so I might split it into several parts.

It was kinda funny. When I sat down with Jarre, Fiona asked me: "Did you know that the album comes with two different covers?

"Yes," I replied.

"Ok, because the Spanish journalist we just spoke to didn't"

And I, without thinking said; "Yeah, I mentioned it in my review that was published yesterday."

*stares from Fiona and Jarre*

Me: "It was positive."

Jarre: *Phew! Good!"

7/10 is positive.

But in all fairness, a week later I would actually give it 8/10. I've been listening to it every single day. Apart from Infinity, I like the whole thing.
