Symbols of significent electronic music crossed in my mind when I made this picture... Dark Side of the moon (1973) Equinoxe (1978) Eye in the sky (1982) and... Aero (2004).
Watching music.
The shape of the image box is inspired by the Jarre website in the time of Metamorphoses. It is a kind of diamond shape. The rainbow gives a surnatural or religious feeling to the picture, which could be extracted of any concert. In fact it is much linked with Equinoxe 8 after the band in the rain : when the rain stops, the sun can shine again.
In irish tradition, there's gold at the end of the rainbow. Jarres' hands are made of gold. :D

The light coming up or down from the keyboard is to be linked with typical Jarre/Lag keyboards. I like the way the Equinoxe guys could move away the one from the other. I used pixel art because I didn't want to represent a young Jarre or an older one. I dressed Jarre in white because it is color of pureness and eternity. Jarre is smiling and looking straight at us. In a first attempt, he was closing his eyes, but it didn't work out as well as it does now (I think) !

You didn't need to change your avatar, there was just no need to tell us why twice. :P
