Fantastic video.

Briefly coming back to the (sorry) "playback" disscusion, now, you can start to understand as to 'why' some musicians (like Jarre) playback. Those machines are not 100% reliable all the time and what a "embarasing" situation to be in when it happens. Yes, they do see the funny side of it, but clearly not all the time. I wouldn't be suprised if Jarre must think "f*** this all the time, give me a digital synth or playback. I'm too old for this sh*t". I'm suprised we don't see him really losing is rag with the machines.

Seems that Thomas assisted to the soundchecks... This is really nice, and shows the risk taken for those concerts, which makes them a unique event...

By the way, was the lead of Oxy 4 also played with the Memorymoog?

The hornlead from Oxygene 4 was played on the Memorymoog during tehse concerts, but not on the original album. However the PB talk started some speculation about the Oxy4 lead... the volumebuttonthing.

My dad was laughing from the fifth row during this wrong part! It was funny, but nice to see and hear what can be wrong during a complete live-show!

Greetzzz...

Vintage electro music porn. :P 8)
It's very interesting and freaking amazing how the MM can go totally out of tune just like that.
Francis is really cool though, just keep on improvising together a really good track under these circumstances. :bravo:  8)
Hang in there Jean Michel, we love you.

Yeah, but you went to at least one concert. It's just now that I'm discovering the Oxygene 3d thingie. Before it didn't actually bother me... :?

JMJ isn't the first artist to have to do "juggling acts" in a live concert, and he won't be the last either.
