I know, my dear. :D Oh, how it takes me back to my first Jean Michel gig. Not long ago actually. I have seen him 3 times in less than 3 months. :o

One look at Jean Michel Jarre per month. Is that some new kind of "healthy living concept" :kanta: ? :)

Damn this was some of the best I have ever seen :D
My view was pretty good with almost nothing in the way, as I was sitting next to a corridor between the seats.
I guess this was also one of the smallest audience, even though all seats were occupied except from a few.
The sound was quite good, but low frequencies did better than the really high, such as the theremin leads.
JMJ was very energic and smiling all the time. He got some hyperactive attackts at times while hitting the CS-80 several times for that flat gunshot-like drone.
I didn't notice any tune problems and everything seemed to go well. This was so damn nice! real warm analogue sounds, and those killerbasses...
I was surprised that the first part of Oxygene 1 before the thereminsound kicked in, wasn't so long as I remember from recordings of the other venues.
The Oxygene 5 solo was very improvised, but in a rather cool way. It wasn't too messy as it tends to be. He really freaked out on that Liberation, using enough vibrato to get some laser sounds like he used the Synthi A for.
I couldn't precisely identify the sound he played on the left VCS-3 but it kind of reminded me of sounds that could have been used on Zoolook.
During Variation part IV, Perrier did one of the best solos I have ever heard, on the Minimoog Voyager.
The audience was very satisfied and the applause after Oxygene 12 and later Oxygene 13 was very outstanding. He bowed several times and promised to return (I hope so :) ).
Like in Ã…rhus he mentioned the Aero concert and that the concert wasn't going to be interupted by rain this time. He didn't sit much in that egg. It almost hadn't turned around before JMJ jumped out of it to welcome the audience.

I cannot compare this to anything, but it was damn cool and I have definitely experienced something for life 8)
After the concert I hoped to see JMJ or at least some of the musicians. That didn't happen :x I was waiting at the backside with some of the people from magneticfields.dk and jeanmicheljarre.dk at the tourbusses, but nothin happened. However a car drove quickly away from the venue. My father said someone was waveing from the inside, so maybe JMJ was in that car. Anyway the people I talked to said that JMJ had been cool enough to talk to them the other days, so I was disappointed that I wasn't going to experience that :| That would have been the dot over the i (as we say here in Denmark).
I didn't take any pics as the guards were very focused on this, and where I was placed I didn't want to risc anything. I just layed back and enjoyed the show :P

EDIT: anothing... I thought the Oxygene lighter was a real Zippo, but it wasn't. On the other hand a real zippo woul have been far more expensive. I bought it anyway, it's still Oxygene merchandise after all

Nice review..

BTW JMJ had promised to come back here in the concert 97, but no sight yet, so I afraid, that he just says that as a filler comment

Yes, as long he is alive and in good shape, there is hope

(hopefully he begins the tour with the new album from the country he didn't pay a visit at this time)

Yes he spoke about in some interviews that he will kind of continue the tour with his forthcoming album, so there is hope for other locations. This is definitley something worth attending 8)

No not quite like that. Listen to the CPH recordings of Variation IV for instance. You can hear a synthsolo. It was like that just a little better performed as I remember it. I'd like to hear some recordings to relisten it.
