IFA 2014: AeroFrame, novelty Jarre Technologies

Its huge stand, Jarre Technologies Unveils AeroFrame a new design trendy neo-cubist consisting of 4 speakers and a subwoofer. The set looks like a real piece of modern art and integrates easily into the interior more luxurious. The system offers all the latest technology in terms of digital amplification and wireless transmission. However, AeroFrame is currently in phase prototype. His name is echoed an earlier prototype speaker but not television that was abandoned a few years ago.

Another interesting new feature and this time real, the Rainbow range J-Tek One (short for Jarre Technology), a tubular enclosure ultra portable design 2 x 5 W with integrated passive subwoofer, proposed in a wide range of colors. Originally scheduled for release in late 2013, the chamber is finally available. Rainbow the proposed €149.

The AeroSkull presented in its XXL and developing 2500 Watts for 80 Kg (still) is still not available because its news is expected in late 2015, but nevertheless we know that the price is set at €2,490.

Besides AeroSkull XXL, the star of the stand is of course that we had AeroBull discover exclusively on the Blog HD LAND preview. The famous dog enclosure 53 inches tall includes a large subwoofer 133 mm in the rear, and use the power cord for a tail! The dog handler to meet its May-master via a remote control bone-shaped (what a find!) And the sound comes out of his sunglasses! A current design and highly successful ultra available in Matte Black, white, red, and soon in chrome metal finish. The AeroBull is priced at €1,299.

The French star Jean-Michel Jarre's electronic music present on the stand with his partner and friend Roland Caville.

You can find all the technical spec on the official website: http://www.jarre.com/

Today, functionality and electronic expertise need to be carried and enhanced by genius design. A modern interior will only welcome that aesthetic added value and therefore render the electronic device “desirable” and “must-have”. - Jean Michel Jarre

Interview with Jean-Michel Jarre - Jarre Technologies at IFA September 2014

Jean Michel Jarre is since the 70s one of the greatest artists and composers in the field of electronic music. Exhibit at IFA 2014 with Jarre with his company Jarre Technologies. We were able to conduct an interview with him as the maker of the official trade fair newspaper IFA today.

For three years, the PC-WELT makes the official trade fair newspaper of the IFA, the IFA today. This year we have not only the usual celebrity testimonials for Siemens (Alfons Beck), Kenwood (Johann Lafer) and Philips (Jurgen Klopp), sometimes met a real world star - Jean Michel Jarre, in his musical genius and founder and namesake of Jarre Technologies , the exhibitors at IFA 2014 were.

IFA today: Monsieur Jarre, you are primarily known as a composer and musician. Jarre Technologies is a company in Germany, however, relatively unknown. Tell us a bit about the company and your role in it.

Jarre: Jarre Technologies was founded about 10 years ago and this for the question of the sound system of the future. We wanted the "black-box syndrome" that may not be especially women banish from the living room and have therefore considered how the combination of aesthetics and technology of tomorrow might look like. For while the technique in recording studios got better, it was on the field playing a quality step backwards from vinyl to CD and again to MP3. So it was interesting to think about what could be done with the help of my experience as a musician, performer and producer, however. We have finally established this company and wanted to differentiate ourselves through our ideas and design of other providers.

Music is emotional, but I've long been under the impression that the hi-fi world has become very boring with their black boxes. With our products we want to take a different way to make a statement in terms of design and incorporate a bit of humor and fun. However, we want to provide my experience as a musician and my engineers the best possible sound.

IFA today: They have built many of your musical instruments. Helps you this knowledge in the development of playback devices such as speakers?

Jarre: Absolutely. As one of the pioneers of electronic music I already had to deal with it very early, as I could play with instruments that were not planned for me. So I have been thinking that I had to build instruments for electronic music. So it's a natural progression to the sound systems.

IFA today: And how do you come up with the designs? The design of the speakers is rather unusual. What inspired you?

Jarre: The first system that we have built, was the Aero, a tower. At the time, told my partner and I "Okay, but we try to dispense with the materials that are normally installed in hi-fi systems, ie plastic and any kind of chemical products". We wanted to instead work with glass, what everyone thought we were crazy. But the system was a great success regarding design and also sound, it has received many awards and such.

Now we have tried to take a different path. I would even say two ways: one with a skull and crossbones Skull Aero and Aero Bulldog Bull, both for their design - to be a part of the living room interior - similar to a sculpture. They deliver the best possible audio quality. The other way is pure high-tech design in conjunction with music or audio technology, as is the case for example when Aero frame and for some products, which we will develop in the near future.

IFA today: Tell us something about the new products and Aero Aero Twist Skull.

Jarre: The Aero Twist was designed with the idea that you could travel with it. They fixed it in his pocket and then be "nomads sound system" always there. It has a beautiful shape, and the surface the same time exuding the sound in different directions.

The Aero Skull is both a tribute to my first album "Oxygène", the cover of which lies a skull in the ground. On the other hand, we wanted to do something creepy, but that is also fun and pretty surreal. So the idea of the skull with sunglasses, the bone as a remote control and a glowing blue tooth as a Bluetooth ad originated. That was fun, we thought it was great. For this design we then young designers called on the Internet and decided to draft a Ukrainian designer.

And it was similar to the Aero Bull: Sound is like a pet, he follows you everywhere, be it with headphones or a smart phone. Why should we therefore not a real pet design that is both a hi-fi system? From this idea, the bulldog was born. But that does not mean that we now specialize in wildlife. We plan no elephants or something.

IFA today: What can we expect next from Jarre Technologies?

Jarre: We are working intensively on smartphone headphones, but also to other products with surround sound and 3D audio. For I am of the view that MP3 will be obsolete in a few years, just as there are the old records of our grandparents today. And that the worst is behind us sound and high definition sound is the next step. We're working on.

He was here in Berlin as a business man, not as a musician. So the journalists are also from the same ressort and they asked only questions about this .
