Just like 1977 when the world got Oxygene and Star Wars, looks like 2015 will be the same. New Jarre, new Star Wars. :fine:

Bernard Szajner, Denis Carnus, Philippe Guerre, Claude Lifante, Yan Terrien, are the great engineers that have created a laser harp for me in the past.

My Houston Rendez-Vous concert in 1986 celebrated the astronauts of the Space Shuttle 'Challenger'. My friend Ron McNair, who was killed in the disaster, was supposed to play the saxophone from space during the track 'Last Rendez-Vous'.

1986 seems such a very long time ago but the concert has still remained timeless. 8)

Happy Bastille Day to you all! Remembering our concert in 1995 and my thrill of lighting the Eiffel Tower in French colours - seems like yesterday...

Bonne fête nationale à tous! Souvenir du concert de 1995 et le bonheur de revoir dans cette image la Tour Eiffel aux couleurs de la France.

You know, CPLT has some damn excellent drumming... Yet it sort of winded down during Industrial Revolutions, not to mention how those tracks sound kinda weak in the gig to begin with... Otherwise, great stuff!

(still does not compare to..... Well, you know ;))

The other thing that has always bothered me about it is that while it's a great thing that the entire concert is available and the audio is pretty great... it still sounds somehow distant... as if, the entire concert was recorded from the audience instead of from the stage (or with the instruments coming from the audio channels). While not too bothersome, I still wonder if it's an intentional mixing choice or ... just me. >_>

When faced with electronic instruments, oscillators and all these kind of strange machines, it occurred to me that mixing colours and mixing audio frequencies is actually the same thing. You are a craftsman, you are a painter, mixing colours and textures.
