Dialogue is fairly alright. "Patrick Rondat" funniest bit.

However Hitler poor taste considering JmJ's Mother French Resistance.
Moreover Hitler far too heavy for a person as lighthearted kind as JmJ.

This laughter far better more considerate

Really funny if this is altered for JmJ

Just be thankful that he is still going at all. At his age he is quite entitled to hang up his synths and go and find a nice golf course.
BTW, he harmonises with backing, either prerecorded or live, always has done.

No, I should NOT be thankfull that he still goes on doing what he "does live". You can be greatfull all that you want, but we shouldn't/not me.

Now I would prefer, that if he really NEEDS to do an all playback concert, then do a pre-recorded session, that SOUNDS that it's actually LIVE, like the Concerts in China album. Then playback these tracks at the concert and then, THEN he should be 100% focused on the keyboards and his other stuff, 100% focused on keeping his hands on the right gear, and not forgetting which synths he was playing the lead on (Sonar Oxy8) etc.. Fake it totally, but make it LOOK and SOUND that he's actually playing live! It really shouldn't be so hard..
It was cool when I was a kid, but 30 years later?..

I like his Electronica project, and there's som really great tracks among the two albums, and of course I want him to go on, why wouldn't I? I think it's great to see him still doing music, and he obviously still loves it! :) All that is just great! But the majority of younger electronic musicians these days that goes up on stage with all their toys and perform their music, they actually play live (and I'm NOT talking about DJ's). So I think it's a big shame that the iconic Jarre STILL goes up on stage (2016) and do such an amateurish performance. And I don't care if you say that Pet shop boys or "kraftwerk" does the same, it just not makes it any better.. In Pet shop's regard, Neil actually sings live all the time, and Chris plays live much more than Jarre.

I know that Sonar was somewhat different, a kind of festival and an introduction to what's new, but if his coming world tour for his fans is the same 100% playback as Sonar, and jarre just really badly pretending, then it wouldn't be a great experience FOR ME :) Probably for many else, but not for me. A ton of lights just doesn't do it for me anymore. When I was a kid it would, but not anymore :)

:) :) :)

Purely from a personal point of view, I don't much care about playback, primarily due to
the artistic triumph of the 2007-08 'Oxygene Tour.
I'd prefer live performance as a matter of course, but I'm sure I'll enjoy the spectacle this
time around as well.
My main concern is with tracks like 'Brick England', where the collaborators are not present.
Listening to a disembodied voice (albeit represented by visuals) only serves to highlight the
pre-recorded feel / playback heavy feel of the show ...

Yes ! :) I agree with you. I also find it a pity that he uses so much playback. But I will consequently not attend a concert, but I call it an event. A special mulitimedia Event!
Whether it justifies the high price of admission to another topic.
