Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

A new server, a new environment. Updated and all.

As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

In autumn 2015 I bought a Eminent 310U. I was a happy man. It was the right Jarre sound that I had hunted in various plugins. But I missed that one could quickly change in what had been recorded without having to record the whole effort again. I had just gotten reason 9, and there was a plugin call...

Well whatever they say, I say you made one really damn good lookin' gui. Some people hate the photorealistic look, but I love it. Currently there's this fashion/move towards vector graphics in the plugin world, i.e. very simple plain one colour background and simple knobs, cartoonish looking at bes...

Thanks for the comments! It has been fascinating to see the responses, even the, um, wackier ones. The generally positive feedback we've had from the wider audience of synth fans has been exceptional. Plugin designers can't please everyone, of course; we've had nearly all positive feedback about the...

Oxygene IV with JPS Harmonic Synth+Combo 310U

Oxygene IV played live on the JPS Harmonic Synthesizer and the Combo 310U Rack Extensions ;) I've spent way, way too much time playing this track with them. I figured recording it might give me some closure to move on! :)

Jarre on BBC6 Music - The First Time With...

Not seen this listed, and it's still available for a 3 more weeks for streaming and mp3 download. It's a pretty substantial interview, not much new, but a few amusing nuggets I'd not heard (the night shift at Groupe de Recherche ;) ) http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06dwdx2 Equinoxe 6 (full via stre...

Wow! I just found out about this today! And went straight to buy it. Nice work! And the interface is gorgeous. I stopped working on my Reaktor version last year, as I started a new job with much less time to spend in any other things. BUT, also today the great event we have waited for 10 years happ...

Very nice! May finally lead me into buying that Reason... ... can it replicate the Oxygene 7 laser harp sound, though? Thanks! The Oxygene 7 lead wasn't done the 310U, afaict, or at least, not on an unmodified one: it clearly has an amp attack envelope. If it is 310, and it does sound 310ish, then ...

Facades (2007)

While everyone is waiting for Jarre to release some new stuff, I've finally made my 2007, ten track, Jarre-inspired opus, Facades , available, and it makes an excellent stop-gap! It's very much in the vein of his late 70s period, so it's got plenty of hummable melodies in it; the single version of &...

Yup, we'll never know the truth, of course! The sequences themselves (and I say "sequences" because I'm not convinced there are any actual arps, at least in the modern sense in there) are almost certainly Jarre. The fascinating thing about the lead sequences, is that they are in a differen...

Arpegiator (retro)

Another retro version of a JMJ classic! TBH I'm not that happy with the end result - it's such a fiddly track I think I got a bit bored, especially with snare programming in the two breakdown sections, and it's been a sod to mix, so I present it "as is" for your amusement. https://soundclo...

Fourth Rendez-Vous ("original 1965 recording") ;)

On the page for our Oxy4 cover, someone on SC asked about a version of Rendez-Vous. Well, actually there was a unfinished demo knocking around for quite a long time. So now we've picked it up, dusted it off, given it a spinkling of tranny-organ majick, and can now present the "original 1965&quo...

Fourth Rendez-Vous (1965 mixes!

Thanks for the resurgance of love for Equi'69. Someone on SC was asking about a version of Rendez-Vous. Well, funnily enough there has been a demo knocking around quite a long time. We've picked it up, dusted it off, and can now present the "original 1965" recording of Fourth Rendez-Vous. ...
