Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

We have migrated to a new server. As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Re: Vangelis LATEST NEWS

I got my set in, doubting if I should keep it or return it for the boxset. I completely forgot that it'd arrive and was too late to cancel the order. I want that book, those pictures look so good! Edit: comparing all the files, seems that the album itself isn't changed at all in the past year or so....

Re: ABBA - Swedish supergroup

It's rare that someone after so many years manages to get close to capturing what they used to do, let alone nail it exactly, lord knows how many artists have tried and failed absolutely spectacularly. I absolutely find it quite the accomplishment that they mange to nail it exactly.

Re: Welcome To The Other Side

Yeah that's new, no doubt. Gotta agree on the FranceInfo comparison, sounds very fitting with those tracks.

Re: ABBA - Swedish supergroup

I have to ask the question, how does one produce a song after all these years again, and somehow sound exactly as if it was produced all those years ago?!

Re: France info - 1 September 216

Please lord, with how hot of a mess it was to get a hold of 10 (and once again, thank you very much for helping with that one), I rather not see 11 happen. I'm still in disbelieve I ordered through three stores in the end, and not a single one was able to deliver.

Re: Welcome To The Other Side

Can't say I'm really interested in this either, it was a fun free concert, but that's about it for me. I'll probably get it eventually, but as of now it's not that high on my list. Same with the EON set :P

Re: Vangelis LATEST NEWS

So had anyone by chance found a store that sells the Deluxe Box Set besides the official Decca store? Seems only the CD/LP/CD Deluxe are available at other places, and I honestly don't want to order through Decca if I can avoid it...

Re: Vangelis LATEST NEWS

Bloody finally! A entire year of delay. Very curious how it'll compare to the leaked version of last year. I do have that one, but haven't given it a listen yet (still). Very curious to finally hear it. I have the LE set ordered since October last year (when it was already delayed until December) an...

Re: Does JMJ look back on Oxygene 7-13 with some regret?

I can't personally agree with that statement, some of the sounds throughout 7-13 sound absolutely wonderful. Digital can sound fantastic, much like analogue can sound fantastic. It all depends on how it's utilised and mix, and 7-13 sounds wonderful to my ears despite the very different approach, sou...

Re: Welcome To The Other Side

Those old concerts won't benefit much anyway by a Blu-ray release unfortunately. Recording those on tape was the worst decision they could've made from a historical perspective, but I understand why they did however. Recording must've been a hell of a lot easier by doing it through tape and just cha...

Re: ENIGMA

If you like Enigma, I suggest listening to Delerium, especially their albums Semantic Spaces, Karma and Poem. It's much in the same spirit as Enigma, but with more sequencers. The later albums are also a bit bland with some sporadic great tracks. Never heard of them before, but I will absolutely ch...
