Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

A new server, a new environment. Updated and all.

As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Cubase SX3, because I used Steinberg software for a long time and I totally "in situ" with his logic ( :pwned: ). I also use Reason 3.0 but more than a big Rewire VST than a sequencer. Next step should be an iMac with Logic studio 9 before the end of the year. First software I used in 1995...

I've had the other one made by EMS for a couple of years, and on that one I'd already done thousands of sounds. As I'm translating some, it's interesting to compare the differences. Both top of the field as far as synthesized strings go. They need a bit of polishing around the edges, but I definite...

The Remin. wrote: it is used on Waiting for Cousteau, too (I saw it on a video of Calypso 1...) But for what on WFC?
Interesting but strange anyway ...

WFC has been released on 1990, Kurweil K2000 has been released in 1991 so I have a couple of doubt about it...

In fact, he used the K2000 as a master keyboard for the Oxygène 7-13 album. In Chronologie, the K2000 has been used as a synth.

It is hard to say. It sounds close to the Equinoxe 7 bass sound. This one is known to be from the ARP2600. Patrick Pelamourgues has MIDIfied some analog gears for the Chronologie album, so it is possible that the ARP2600 has been used for ... However, Moog Minimoog and ARP2600 are both named on the ...

1)Could you point me in the right direction for good samples for the K2. 2)Also, the floppy drive, does that take standard 3.5 floppys?. 3)Are floppys with samples on still available other than eBay?. 4)Also, the floppy, there is a faint humming coming from it. Is that normal? 1) Let me the week en...

Congrats Jon !! The Kurzweil K2000 is a very expressive and powerful synth. It has a real "analog" capacity due to the VAST synthesis and mixed with the expansion ROM's or sampling option, it becomes quickly the main keyboard of a home studio. I own a K2000 V2 with 3.18J OS, orchestral &am...
