Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

We have migrated to a new server. As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Re: Jean-Michel Jarre the 17th Icon of Echoes

I've just listened to the broadcast. It's a one hour special, the first half hour has 4 tracks: Robots Don't Cry, Oxygene 4, Suns Have Gone and Ethnicolor. The second half hour is a feature on JMJ with snippets of interviews the presenter did in 1985, 2015 and 2016. There's also people like Moby an...

Re: Jean Michel Jarre - Official Facebook

Part of the royalties will go to a fund for the Amazon forest.(…) From what I understand a part of the money goes to the ethnographic museum of Geneva who lended him ethnic music excerpts and another part of the royalties goes for non-profit organizations struggling against deforestation. I found s...

Re: Jean Michel Jarre - Official Facebook

Slightly OT / Taschen is a good publishing company, it has good reputation here in France (this is more a professional point of view). I don't get how they could think 50 copies would be enough for the purpose. This is unthinkable.

Re: Amazonia

They would have damaged their sales if they would release the digital version earlier… I don't know if it's a relevant move in the music industry, but the communication is better that way IMHO.

Re: The Concerts In China

Most of the review is about himself, next to nothing to the music.
And I can't think of anything more cheesy (musically and visually) than the first Ghostbuster movie, which he tends to like a bit more (4 stars).

JMJ said in reaction that he'd be thrilled to work with either of them (Guy Manuel de Homen-Christo and Thomas Bangalter).

The man had taste! With Elton John and Paul MCCartney always buying the record, we have a great trio.
