I'm just wondering about the concert in Bonn. As I understand it's an outdoor concert but it starts at 20.00 according to the ticket and festival websites. Taking place in July this will mean a concert in broad daylight. Does anyone have more information on this? Is 20.00 really the starting time ...

I'm loving Oxygene 3! Although my Amazon disc still hasn't arrived (probably got lost with UPS) I took an iTunes music subscription and have been playing the album over and over and over and over!

Well my CD won't arrive from Amazon UK until next week, but I believe I will get the MP3 album in Amazon Music tomorrow. It's sounding better than I first thought, but I obviously need to hear the whole thing a few times.

I also went to the Dusseldorf concert yesterday and found it a mixed experience. I've also been to Hans Zimmer's concert in Rotterdam and to Kraftwerk in Paradiso earlier this year so have some recent electronic music concert comparison.

Although I can't wait to hear new Jarre solo material, Oxygene 3, I will refrain from listening to the concert recordings that will never sound the way it is intended and are out of their musical context. I'm looking forward to hearing and seeing the concert in Dusseldorf!

with regard to 'Exit', it is obviously not 'listening music' in the same vein as Oxygene or compared to E1 tracks like The Train and the River, A question of blood or Zero Gravity.

However, I think not every track needs to be listening music. I think 'Exit' brilliantly captures in sounds, rhythm ...

fantastic track! these bitcrushed vocoder sounds and D50 revolution lead sounds cutting through a fantastic sounding mix with PSB voices and catchy melody. Damn great!!

Great album! Strong tracks but also amazing production.clear, crisp, warm, punchy with beautifully crafted sounds! difficult picking a favourite, all tracks have a unique quality of their own.

Ozric Tentacles also uses loads of synths and electronica in their spacy progrock (spacerock)
