Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

We have migrated to a new server. As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Re: Monaco Royal Wedding Concert – 01/07/2011

Watched it live online since I wasn't allowed to drive all the way (just had my license a few months at the time). It was quite a nice concert, but lord the things I'd do to get the audio without that dreadful looping fake audience clapping, whistling and more. Seriously, who's idea was that?! Whic...

I was about ten places back from the front, over towards JMJ's right hand side.... it was epic! Rendezvous 4 fireworks were something else!

Re: Fête de la Musique 2021

I love the concerts with a live drummer.... Houston, Lyon, Docklands, La Défense, Europe in Concert, CPLT. Oh yes . I'd also add 12DOTS to that list, even though it's already quite different from the other ones. And man, that Equinoxe 7 @ CPLT plain and simply rocks. 8) Gary Wallis - he was amazing...

Re: Fête de la Musique 2021

Agree totally. It would be really cool.

JMJ suggested he'd do this sort of thing for Europe In Concert, if I recall.... interview with Music Technology magazine in 1993. "Just me, one keyboard and a mini-pops machine. A minimalist Oxygene" or words to that effect. Didn't happen though.

Re: Fête de la Musique 2021

I love the concerts with a live drummer.... Houston, Lyon, Docklands, La Défense, Europe in Concert, CPLT. Makes such a difference to the on-stage vibe. That said, the solo JMJ show originates from 1979 and Place de la Concorde and yes, for sure that was all playback (wasn't it?) but the concept of ...

Re: The Making of Paris La Défense

This concert, more than any other, deserves a "making of..." documentary. Like the full length Docklands making of, or if not that, then at the very least the opening part of the official Houston video release. Hopefully, footage like this can be edited and added to any future official con...

Re: Fête de la Musique 2021

That was great! Top show. Just one man and a bunch of kit, one big screen and then the mini screens around the main keyboard set up. Perfect scale! I think that actually works better than the 3 x person set up and the moving 3-D screens used for the Electronica tour.
