If I remember correctly Oxy 7-13 was a great commersial for Clavia DMI and their Nord Lead synth line. Roland JP-8k was also used a lot so maybe the old "digital vs analog" had some impact on the difference soundwise. I don't think JMJ would've wanted Oxy 7-13 undone. A bit like a "poppier" disco ...
