Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

A new server, a new environment. Updated and all.

As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Oxygene 11 cover

This is my cover version of Oxygene 11, from a slightly reworked MIDI arrangement I did years ago (late 90's I think) and posted on the internet. Nothing that special or new but some may like to hear it.

Pet Shop Boys (or Tennant/Lowe if they prefer) would be top of the list for me, followed by Trevor Horn. Brian Eno would be one that I'm sure JMJ would like to work with, as well as maybe Brian May of Queen. I'd also nominate Henry Jackman as I love the soundtrack he did for X-Men First Class (I lov...

Excellent work, regardless. :] Many thanks :) Yet it gave me an idea, perhaps I should try come up with some kind of a PLD medley for the occasion... hmm. ;) [Edit: Here we go] I love this - especially the Calypso end part. It reminds me a little of a Jarre Medley that Francis Rimbert did in the ea...

Of course, Oxygene 4 was followed by Equinoxe 4 at the concert.

This is my attempt at a cover of Equinoxe 4

Ok, not quite so inspired by the concert version this time!

My Oxygene 4 cover on Facebook

A bit of an experiment, but I've created a little video of my older paintings set to my cover version of Oxygene 4 (which incidentally is based on a reworked version of a MIDI file I created several years ago). If you're on Facebook, I've posted it to my artwork page (Darren Parrett Artwork) - apolo...

The whole album Nocturnes has been available for download from iTunes since 5 May. Sadly doesn't include the track 'Headphones' but I've added it to the album playlist as a bonus track 11 !

Nice album sadly overlooked by much of the media. Familiar story!

New album out which reunites former Depeche Mode colleagues Vince Clarke and Martin Gore, for the first time since 1982 (as Vince went on to form Yazoo and then Erasure) It's called "Ssss" Not quite the old synth pop of Just Can't Get Enough, but may be of interest..., and (without harping...

Madonna

I don't think she's been the subject of this forum before, which is surprising considering her albums Ray Of Light, Music and Confessions...

Anyway, Madonna's new album is to be called MDNA

The groundbreaking China Concerts, 30 years on

Today is the 30th anniversary of JMJ's opening concert in Beijing for The Concerts In China.

Still don't really know the set-list(s)!

What I'd give for a remastered dvd/blu ray of this :)

Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith. As much as I love the original 3 movies, especially The Empire Strikes Back, having now watched all of the Star Wars movies in the past couple of weeks, I perhaps now controversially think that Revenge of the Sith is the best of the six movies. Ian McDiarmid who play...

"How could JMJ surprise us... " ...with "Essential and Rarities Vol 2 " ... :pwned: While I would prefer an new album a Vol. 2 would be welcome: AOR, Cartolina, Helza, and some more contemporary rarities such as Palawan, The Sun, Crazy Saturday, the Okinawa Overture etc. ...
