Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

A new server, a new environment. Updated and all.

As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

How to recreate the sound FX in Oxygene2 ?

Hi all. I'm talking of a sound based on an LFO with variable speed and a pitch bend down at the end of the sound. I can't figure out how to recreate this sound. :? At 0:25 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Q00HQwO2Sg What the LFO is modulating, that kind of stuff... I would be very grateful to anyone ...

Last purchase is Nordlead 2X (one month ago). Next on the list: VP330 (early march). Then I won't be needing anything more for a while.

I have that. 8) I tried one a few years ago and watched some videos on YouTube... I might get one someday. That's the only vintage synth I really fancy at the moment (other than my VP330). Nordlead 2X and Oberheim Matrix 1000 are more than OK for the analog sounds I need. I've had a JUNO ...

I've done some new arrangements in my studio :D The computer will move from behind the displays to inside the big cupboard on the left, with a hole to make somewhere for the cables. Then I hope I won't hear it (the computer) when I record vocals or guitars through the microphone. http://fr.audiofanz...

Only wishlist is some studio furniture, and a replacement for my 2nd faulty hard drive so that I can start the serious work. And... Better studio monitors would be nice (Roland DS-5 for example). Two Shure KSM27 would be appreciated for stereo recordings. Also a midi controller such as an Edirol PCR...

It's just how it looks like  The Fantom X6, XP80 and Ion are out, but most of the "invisible" stuff is sitting in those "built-in" cupboards (rack synths, and my old Casio keyboard). I had a Korg 01W which is now in Brussels to be used on an album my sister is currently rec...

My latest synths are a Yamaha SY-99 (october)... sold 2 weeks ago.

And an Oberheim Matrix-1000 (my second one, bought in november). I still have to use it.

I mainly bought 3 guitars since last october (Takamine acoustic, PRS electric and Ibanez nylon) and a Boss GT-Pro to plug them in.

No wishlist for me at the moment... I've got everything I need to record my music (well I'm still waiting for my PC and Sonar 7 Producer to arrive). I'd be glad to replace the Alesis Ion by a Nordlead 2X though.

I'll certainly record a few things with it in the coming weeks. No I won't :hypocrit: Sold for 525 euros last week. LOL Sold the Juno 106 for 500 euros the same weekend. Sold some other stuff. And still have a few small things to sell. Used the money to buy a new PC, an Alesis Multimix 16 USB2.0 an...

Well yes it's a bit strange, but why not. A 1- or 2-year old IMac shouldn't be too hard to sell. Or you would keep it for other stuff if you can afford a Mac Pro without selling it. My plans are still changing about what I'm going to do (maybe just re-vamp my PC with 3Gb RAM, newer processor ...

Then of course I will fill up the computer with a bunch of softsynth etc.. All on a IMac 24´. We´ll see.. :P Why not consider a Mac Pro with two 22" displays  (OK it's much more expensive...) That's what I have currently in mind for my forthcoming studio set up (still a few months to ...

Can't wait to have a fully functional studio instead of a mess of synthesizers...
