Jarre is saying "c'est bon ?" (means "it is right ?")when Michel Geiss was testing vocoder during recording. It was an accident.

German version are the better ones because mix is analog (symbols AAD instead of ADD for french releases).

All polydor releases have been mixed in analog.

Backstage rumours though indicate things did not went so well as they may be now, and selling Croissy may give you a hint on what the reasons may have had been... but I'm guessing here.

It's what Michel said himself.
I have no more comment about that.

No friction as far as I know. When I last spoke to Geiss, he said he did talk to JMJ every now and then, but not often. He also said he ...

I'm an audiophile, I often listen music alone without doing something.

I use only monitor speaker than is not a very good idea (not all adapted for pleasure listening) but I don't have other thing.
I hope buy someday a good HIFI equipment.

It's about sampling, my dear. LP has the 'whole' signal, whereas CD's are resampled, and thus lack very little of the signal...

No, according to the sound engineer David Manley; LP distort the analog signal along you approach the center of the disc : you loose high frequencies from the beginning ...

There is only a unique mix of Equinoxe 5.

Due to Dolby use or not use on some records (most of cassettes don't have Dolby althought it is mentionned), some recording seems sounding different whereas there is only unique version of Equinoxe 5.

The most surprising records come from Concert in China ...
