Oh, by the way. All Oxygene albums have been remastered again for the new package, "with an analogue approach (no loudness war!) " and Jarre said he completely agreed with all the fans who have been complaining about the latest remasters. Jarre said they are awful, and that they were done...

It would be better if the record companies got off their high horses and realised the loudness war hurts the music - and our ears.

According to Elf, who has just interviewed JMJ these will be brand new remasters. JMJ said he agreed with the fan criticism of the 2014-5 remasters "which were awful, and the responsibility of the record company". Apparently these will be much better.

For me, the fact that it has the DNA of Oxygene and still sounds different is what really attracts me to this new album. I'm really intrigued to hear the full album, but if 17 and 18 are anything to go by it's going to be a belter
