Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

A new server, a new environment. Updated and all.

As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Re: AOR Ballet

Bumping an old topic: French newspaper Le Monde have an archive now. Archives are cool. Their review of the AOR ballet is there too: https://www.lemonde.fr/archives/article/1971/10/23/aor-a-l-opera_2474033_1819218.html 47% of the article is readable, the rest is for subscribers :-( Here [the Paris O...

Re: Metamorphoses - Test Pressing CD-Rs

Ha! (in Obi-Wan voice) Digital archeology is my speciality :-)

Strange thing is, I asked 1906 and several others who seem to remember the studio version of The Sun too, but nobody has it. Maybe it's the Mandela Effect here. I'm going to dive into my old harddrives.

Re: Vangelis LATEST NEWS

NASA released a new video with Vangelis music.

It's not from Vangelis' next album Juno To Jupiter, which will come out in December.

Because Suns Have Gone.... :lol2:

I will do a search on my archive when I'm back home. Can't find it on my NAS here. If I have it....

Re: Metamorphoses - Test Pressing CD-Rs

It's a closed group, I can't read it :-( Not sharing these is pretty lame. These CDs are extremely limited and these tracks probably won't ever be released. What's the joy in having them then? I do remember a studio version of The Sun was going around the internets a few years ago. That must have co...

Re: Metamorphoses - Test Pressing CD-Rs

Also, as far as I know, there's only one person who has these Isobel and Give Me A Sign test-pressings. And as both of these are pressed on a CD-R, you can only wait until these recordables are deteriorated... Like a ticking time bomb.

Re: Metamorphoses - Test Pressing CD-Rs

Yeah, those Whitfield Street testpressings are annoying. Hard to get and usually very limited. I have one with 6 C'est La Vie remixes, one of which is never released on CD (Hybrid's Matrix Dub). I'm not a big fan of those ego remixes at all, but for me as a completist it's nice to have. But there ar...

Re: The current state of the forum

I've added some more missing posts and topics. I couldn't see why they weren't added in earlier imports. Turns out there was something wrong with my assumption when a topic was moved. I've now ignored the topic-moved-ID (because I can't re-trace the original topic-ID) and that means that the moved t...

I've added the Classic style and the updated Modern style. You can easily switch styles with the Board Style dropdown at the bottom of the page ⤵️

Re: The current state of the forum

I've added some missing posts and topics which I could retrieve with mysql matching and parsing some cached search result pages. It's not much, but I'm not expecting a lot of lost posts anymore. There's now 99,000+ posts restored, which is more than I hoped for. I've also worked on cleaning up some ...

Re: The current state of the forum

I see the forum has a new look. I think you might have gone a bit too far with the "nostalgia" vibe, it looks like straight out of 2000 ;) Can we please have an option to switch to the previous one? (Unless this option already exists). Pretty please :) (BTW. graphic elements and my person...

Re: Demos Of My First Ever (concept) Album

A fast and cheap solution would be an external usb harddisk adapter. You can get the ssd hd out of your broken computer and use it as an external hdd and copy everything off to a new computer
