Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

A new server, a new environment. Updated and all.

As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Re: Fifty Years of ARP

JMJ 's comparison between being either a Beatles fan or a Stones fan: being an ARP fan or a Moog fan :-D

Re: The current state of the forum

The page does redirect you to the original post, but fair point... I can look into that, I don't think the original extension has the option to not redirect, but a simple ajax call can fix that. I will discuss this with Adam.

Re: The current state of the forum

Adam has provided the new style, which you can use. It's called "Modern". He's also working on a "Retro" style that looks like the old version of the forum, for the people who are nostalgic :-) He also gave me an extension for the "like this post" functionality, which y...

Re: The current state of the forum

We've added a small little feature on the top of the start page. An "on this day"-overview. There you can see what JMJ related stuff happened on that day and how many years ago. Adam helped with the template here, and it works like a charm :-) It's nowhere near complete, but I've imported ...

Re: Jean Michel Jarre – The Making of Water for Life Photobook (second edition)

Looks like it has a new cover and I can't remember a foreword by JMJ in the original.
The last line on the idesine link is interesting:
Please note that aside from the cover and a new double page spread, the book is largely the same as the first edition.

Re: The current state of the forum

Late Sunday evening update: imported some of the (mostly off-topic) mega-threads. This adds 9491 new posts and brings the grand total to 90782 (44%). I noticed some topics and posts are not converted in the phpbb2 -> phpbb3 conversion, so if I find out why, I guess those percentages will go up a lit...

Re: The current state of the forum

A more secure solution will be to have the remote server login and fetch the backup. That way - if the current server is compromised - the backup cannot be deleted as an attacker don't have the keys or password for remote server. If you need my help on how to configure this or have other security q...

Re: The current state of the forum

Just added 6 missing topics and 4386 missing posts, including the happy birthday topic, which was probably one of the last topics created before the crash: https://www.zoolook.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7146 And there's also one post in this topic of which I don't know the original poster: htt...
