Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

Currently, we are experiencing some DNS problems. We hope to fix this as soon as possible.

We have migrated to a new server. As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

I really like this album. I am hearing a mixture of old and new Jarre, those elements of his early years. After Electronica, it is refreshing to listen to Jarre going back to normal ground. I think one problem that some have with this album is that they have become use to the Electronica sounds and ...

We mostly all wanted a solo album from JMJ and it seems he is to deliver what we wanted. A very very nice surprise and even nicer surprise to end the year in Jarrestyle.

Love this Oxy17.

As much as this is fantastic news, this new album release could really get confusing.

"which Oxygene track do you like?"

"I like Oxygene 2"

"Oxygene 2 from the first album or Oxygene 2 from Oxygene 3 part 15?".

Falling Down, what is that noise that appears in the last second of the track. Is it studio noise? Its sounds almost if there by purpose.

hmm...
They do over on their devoted groups/pages etc. But there is no call for it to be debated here on a JMJ group.

With the news that David Lynch was to guest with Jarre and making no appearence on the albums, I do wonder if the Christophe 'Walking the Mile' track was the intended Lynch track. That is an unmistakable Twin Peaks twang guitar going on in that track.

I really like the album except for one track, What You Want (I'm not a fan of Peaches, but Jarre hence why its there). If I were to swap that track out with another artist I would have gone for Kate Bush. As Jarre acknowledges Luigi Russolo's The Art of Noises (1913) it would have been a fitting tri...

they were never fully Jarre's albums because he had others supplying to the overall layout and sound of the album. People buy a car, a Volvo for example, but how much of that car is ALL Volvo? just certain parts. Yet it's sold as and labelled as a Volvo. Much like a Jarre album. It has his name on i...

A "proper" Jarre track or album would just be Jarre on his own with no assistance from anyone else, ala Deserted Palace for example. Fans may arc back to Oxygene, Equinoxe, Magnetic Fields, Rendez Vous, Revolutions, Chronologie, etc, etc, but they were never fully Jarre's albums because h...

I have this album on repeat play. I cannot get enough of it. I have not done that with a Jarre album for many years (as a new release). I know you've been quite outspoken in the past about how disgruntled you've been. I therefore hope that this album has restored your faith a little. I'm just on my...
