Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

Currently, we are experiencing some DNS problems. We hope to fix this as soon as possible.

We have migrated to a new server. As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

What intruments was used on ethnicolor 1? Fairlight (II?) of course, but how about others? Fairlight II, DX 7, Emulator, OB-Xa, for percussions Simmons i think ...Simmons indeed... and Linn Drum (rather than drumulator) I love how the toms sound compressed and effected! In none of the live version ...

Yes but synthesis+sampling in the same synth is quite strange actually :? At least for me, I wouldn't do both at the same time, but that's just me, the Wave is nice, but still :punch: Well, the Kurzweil K2000 did it 16 years ago... and it can be really surprising even today, although it didn't have...

@ SynthX: compliments for your arsenal! (though I agree with the opinion that this arsenal deserves more room/a bigger room to be enjoyed better) @ Nico: you're getting serious with that stuff! I like how you created a stand for the JP-8000 using empty jars of jam! @ Radek: your AX-1 is amazing! JMJ...

Really good, I confirm! I just miss the bass drum beat...
Who knows where the original bass sound came from? ARP 2600? Modular Moog (not credited though)?

The Yamaha FM synth are quite strange machines. People judge them harshly today because probably ignore that, when they come out, PCM based synths had yet to come and the majority of the analogs sounded huge, but more or less tended to produce the same array of sounds; I think people were astonished...

Thank you all, So it is definitely not worth as the 310U, whose strings I love more than the later Solina's. What a pity, it was very clean and for sure I could pick it up for little money. For who lives in the Netherlands it seems quite easy to find a 310U fairly cheap; here it's quite rare and som...

Eminent 500 De Luxe

Hi all, does anyone know about this model of Eminent? Do you know of differences and similarities with the original one? I have seen one for sale in a shop and at the beginning it seemed to me the 310U, than I looked on the left and noticed the first differences. Eminent experts I am waiting for you...

WOW! The technical studio sheet.
It's is very interesting also for the recording outboard & effects and, as I imagined, a lot of great stuff is in!

Anyone who wants that Original Model D would mainly want it for its Nostalgic status and legendary name more than wanting it simply for the Sound alone, and those who wouldn't settle for anything less than the Minimoog would be willing to pay the Price of service and upkeep, not me thanks Me neither ...

Awesome :D congratz man :) Thanks, just read that it is sometimes impossible to repair the buttons/sliders. The 3 and 4 button in the sound bank do not react...and the cutoff slider is skipping some points. I will take it to the repair shop, just would be very dissapointed to learn it's imossible t...

I remember I watched that song on TV and that the synth responsible for that sound had to be a Korg Prophecy.
Actually at the end of your video you can see the last member on the stage playing the main riff alone on a Korg Prophecy.

Hey man,
you are talented!
Very good tracks indeed! My favorite are part IV and VI.
Bravo!

I don't know why but Jamendo sounds worse than Soundclick in streaming.
Soundwise I found the album a bit overcompressed, but the tracks are great!
