Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

We have migrated to a new server. As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Superb Radek. http://www.mediafire.com/?djamrzy1jm Rendezvous 4. A quick one-shot live recording that has an ellement or two missing but I have concentrated on tracking the original notes played by the Matrisequencer. I'm looking forward to hearing ANYTHING by Jote, he really has musical talent and ...

I don't think I've ever listened to any Klaus Schulze music. I should look it up, I assume I'm missing out. Although I have followed the basic chord sequence of Oxy 2, this really is just a quick doodle that I quite like the sound of and is no attempt to be Jarre just me going in my own direction al...

Kind of "Arpeggiator" meets "Oxygene"... :fine:[/quote]

That's EXACTLY how I see it.

Dominc wrote:Matt, This is good although the sequences sound like Klaus Schulze/ Tangerine Dream.

I love getting lost in hypnotic sequences and this is just what felt right through my fingers today as I played how I wanted to as opposed to following Jarre note by note.

I hope he is happy - some of his music has given me a lifetime of sonic happiness. I just wish he'd make some more of the same, that is music aimed at grown-ups instead of his latest offering which after 1 quick listen started to irritate me like the stuff that comes out of my daughter's bedroom at ...

What do these huge circular keyboards do other than light up ? because during concert footage, none of his hand positions correspond correctly to any sounds played.

It makes me wonder if Jarre is happy - he seemed happy during his 'golden years' through the late 70's and 80's when he was in my opinion , his most creative and settled with his wife and home. I feel he lost his way after Waiting For Cousteau musicaly, and everything since Oxygene 7-13 has sounded ...

Jarre's Home

I was wondering if Jarre still lives in the same 12 bed mansion he shared with Charlotte Rampling at one time. Does anyone have any photos of it?
