Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

We have migrated to a new server. As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Clarification: while the piece at 0:26 sounds like a prototype of "Suns have gone", the piece that starts at 2:07 is indeed very similar to "Swipe to the right".

This is very much subjective, isn't it?

E2 is better than E1 for me.

And still no need to close the topc. :P

A couple of more reviews.

The Evening Standard says it's as good as E1 (it's not, I've proven it) 4/5
Q Magazine says it's all a bit of a mess (harsh, but can't disagree too much) 2/5
Mojo Magazine (not read review) gives it 3/5, which I think is right.

In other news, my Amazon CD has finally arrived but feel a bit deflated now as it won't receive as much love as E1 did.

Outside of the wrong albums...
No codes received yet - I'm realy hoping they keep their promise to send download codes tomorrow and announce the date when the deluxe box will be ready...

It's really hard reading first reviews here and not having the chance to start listening to it
Finally... An email from myplay with download codes... :peacemaan:

I just got my download link. I downloaded all the files and they're all white noise, with a little bit of the music underneath.

What. The. Hell?

Has this happened to anyone else? I went to redownload and the web site won't let you.

EDIT: I opened a few files in Audacity. Yup, mostly white noise. I contacted MyPlay.

The download link now comes up with error, maybe they have had several complaints & pulled them down.
I didn't bother with the MPD download as I downloaded from Amazon free with the CD.

Sorry to hear it happened to other people. Hopefully they'll get it back up and running properly.

I'm listening on Spotify now. Love this album!

No. Like all online retailers run by the record companies themselves (or on behalf of them) suck big time. It's pretty incredible how they manage to fuck up. Universal's store fucked up every single Mike Oldfield shipment to me. They still owe me money from one that I never got. I've given up on reclaiming it.

I think the DRM on the download files has gone completely terrible. Mostly white noise here also. Though it's the most accurate title I guess!
