Yeah, I've been checking my local record store, but nothing.shadow wrote:Still no orders up in the Netherlands'. Disappointing :/
The cheapest seller is jpc.de still. The box set is 62 euros (including shipping costs)
This would've been nice, were it not that all remasters in the past two decades have been largely straight up garbage...Jote wrote:No tracks were lifted from existing Sony masters; all material was prepared by JMJ and his team, some had to be obviously reedited to fit the compilation, also this can possibly indicate that some tracks are reworked (quote: "Some of the tracks had to be altered to make them fit the product. Some information from Sony Music on this: Boxset and vinyl edition will indeed be limited.Jote wrote:saturn.de now mentions that the Vinyl Edition supposedly includes a download card not for the 5.1 mixes, but for "We are vinyl" HQ WAV downloads. To add to the confusion...
Thank you very much for finding this out.Oxygene wrote:Boxset and vinyl edition will indeed be limited.
Both contain a download code or card for 12 Songs in 5.1 PLUS the full Album as HQ WAV-file download.
And this is supposedly bad news, as it is owned by Sandbag, I've been told they were behind the botched downloads for Electronica boxes..."We are Vinyl" is simply the provider who handles this for Sony.
They do now: https://www.soundshaarlem.nl/detail/381 ... _-box_set-shadow wrote: Seems Sounds have it up now. €55 for the boxset and €25 for both the normal and deluxe edition. They do not have the vinyl up.
Whether these are just length edits to fit the album remains to be seen. We can be pretty much certain that Oxygene 8 is more than just length edit, as it was actually made longer (the only one from this list though).freshly retouched versions of:
