Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

A new server, a new environment. Updated and all.

As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Do you like Royksopp?

Nice chilly version... I tend to say I prefer Anneli's voice over Karin's for this track.

From ze official website's frontpage wrote: “Senior” is now finished. We know we promised to release it towards the end of 2009, but due to certain factors that we cannot control, the completion of the album has been delayed. Until now that is. We do not know the exact releasedate yet, but we hope to get it out some time in April this year (…obviously).

…Aaaand we would also like to introduce our new concept called “Track Of The Month” – a service (provided by us) where fans can get their hands on some free, unreleased & exclusive Röyksopp material.

Ok people, we promised you yet another track of the month and here it is!
This time around you can get your hands on one of the many edits/unauthorised remixes that we've done. This particular track is an enticing instrumental which contains a sample from the song "De Ushuaia a La Quiaca" by Gustavo Santaolalla. As with all edits/reworks we do, this edit has been done with utmost respect for the original composer, and is furthermore a completely non-profit thing - done purely for the love of music.

...aaaaand, while you listen to this nice little number, why don't you spend a second of your time on casting your vote (in our favour of course) helping us win the prize for "Hit Of The Year" and/or "Video Of The year", (both for "The Girl And The Robot")at the Norwegian Grammy's. That is, if you want us to win.
Oh, and voting is absolutely free of carge and will take you 2 seconds. 4 if you're drunk.

To vote for "Hit Of The Year" click here.
for "Video Of The year" click here.

Thank you for your time!

Yeah a strange remix. It somehow cuts at the end... not a very typical ryxp remix :P

A weird clip from SVT with Robyn as they're working on a new track
with a tiny snippet. :P Not sure if all of it is subtitled.

Ok, the new track from Robyn Featuring Röyksopp is called 'None Of Dem'. Some time ago Robyn mentioned that she grapped the track before it went too Röyksopp-ish. Timbaland sound was mentioned. Im glad that it didn't end up sounding like Timbaland. It starts out as a dark dub track, but evolves just like Röyksopp often do. You can clearly hear the Röyksopp marks at the end, however the drumprogramming and the dark melody have the Röyksopp touch as well.

A pretty odd production...strange undergound in some way. But at 3:45 you clearly hear senor B+B going flat out!
I really hope the levels are better mixed in the finished product. Clippings from the bass is quite awful in that YT version me thinks.
Is this by any chance a result by listening through their own work in cars and other "horrible" acoustic environments?

The part I "wrote"?, you mean "↑ ↑ ↑ " in a reply to the 'Analog-Umph' taking the mickey out of the size of Jarps picture.

Lets cut to the chase here, eh! We both know what this is about, don't we. Yet again, a member (not me) has made a religious comment ('Analog-Umph' - "Jesus H Christ") in which you didn't like and for some strange reason, yet again, decided to take it out on me - Why exactly? By the way, my reply post to that posting was made before YOU edited that post. You came along 1h,45mins later.

I'm getting sick of this all the time.

Indeed! I had a great laugh when I saw that video. Im aware of the subject "Senior", but that video is typical for the Röyksopp guys... seeing it from the listeners point of view, that now it's finally here (eventhough I think it's pretty quick for a follower up to the Junior album).
