Another hot one today. :P Apparently, we are on "Level 3" of the heatwave. Not been like this for a long time here. Wherever you go here, you can't escape it. :punch:

I saw a headline about Katy Perry having fun with signs in Denmark.
This one appeared among it. It's a button in lift.

It leads you to the kliché about farting in lifts. Perhaps the button is used for some kind of ventilation :pwned: Someone also mentioned "Gods Elevator".
I have to admit that it gave me a pretty good laugh :smoke:

A little cooler today, had thunderstorms overnight.
One hell of a torrential downpour this morning, flooded garden & a leak in the roof.
My local sainsburys up the road was closed as it was struck by lightning.
And I saw on the news the shop where I used to work flooded !! (Ha Ha!)
Good news is the UK is in for much cooler weather towards the weekend.
Kanta,if you haven't had the rain yet,then it's on it's way !

I'm seriously HATING this hot weather... TOTALLY.

28.bloodyhot C outside and not much cooler inside....

Decided to wash the back doorstep down with a bucket of water... 10 minutes later, it had all dried............

Clouds are starting to form again - which is good.. but it won't keep the heat down... Granted, there are storms coming, but they're coming in too late in the day for it to be of any use to be efficient......

It's forecast rain for morning with some thundery outbursts - good. As terrified of storms as I am, it'll be a welcome storm that will bring the temps down to something near normal... I can tolerate 22C better than 28C.

Last night I slept under nothing more than a sheet and STILL FELT TOO WARM... so today, I'm sluggish and not my usual self. I've been out to take pictures of the clouds because we had some fantastic cloud formations this morning - and even then, half an hour in this heat was all I could tolerate. I took water with me as norm - even though I wasn't venturing too far from home, but if I'd not taken water, I would still be trying to get back in this heat and I'm not talking a long complicated walk, I usually walk about a quarter of a mile..... if it's getting me, it's going to be getting others and I have heard/seen MANY ambulances in the area already - so if I multiply that by the whole town and the outskirts, thats a whole lot of people...

Bring on the cooler weather... heck, I'm watching some videos I shot those rare ocassions when we had snow..

I still feel like hugging an ice-block :D

People should think about what kind of weather they like. When it's Winter some complain about it, and begs for the Summer. When the Summer arrives, the very same people complain about it
I prefer the current weather as opposite to the cold Winter, however I could point out a better standard temperature. I don't mind a day once or twice a week with clouds or rain, as long as it goes away again. I will never praise wind, but a minor breeze (that doesn't result in goosebumps) from time to time on the hottest summerdays doesn't hurt.
At night the temperature is nice for a change, just a shame that the mosquitos attack the first window that is open just a bit too much.

Those blood sucking insects are the real downside of hot weather. As soon as it starts to rain a little, instantly they starts to breed in millions and millions...
Now it is pretty calm because it's too dry for them to lay their eggs everywhere.
