My friend who is famous for creating this : http://www.native-instruments.com/en/co ... show/4923/ and this: http://www.native-instruments.com/en/co ... show/4525/

Is working on a new Eminent 310 Strings Reaktor Ensemble, which will feature a sound much closer to the real instrument than any previous software endevour, free or otherwise.

Example of the new sound: https://soundcloud.com/alien-machine/osc-1/s-Ksszw

If anyone, particularly Eminent owners, is interested in helping with advice and calibration you can contact him at: hugo.portillo@gmail.com

Eventually when he is finished perfecting the strings ensemble, he wants to do the rest of the Eminent 310.

I remember this, loved his Eminent Reaktor file. I seem to remember he got help from Radek for this originally, sure Radek mentioned this somewhere on the board.

Any plans on a "rack extention" for Propellerhead Reason?

No my friend, that'd take some programming... :) This is being done for Reaktor.

But has he checked how it is done in Reason?
Maybe it rather simple if he had a template and all the knowledge from the Reaktor project.

Yes he may eventually do it. First things first though. And the more people help, the more authentic it will be. :D

Have you mentioned about Albert Steenbergen to him? I know he's done work on restoring Eminents. So he might be able to give information to your friend on this project.

A few years ago some folks here try to make an eminent sound from scratch in reason.

Joachim Hillstad as made the basics, i made the smallstone, and then Chrisbern made the combinator and some settings.

And the result is this

Not perfect but i think you can adjust it your way.

I also give you the firt version with the 3 Delay line way to make the sound (Joachim Hillstad), with my first modification of the combinator (small stone added); don't use it anymore since i use cromina and other stuff
