My guess it'll be available. 1000 copies is a lot nowadays. But don't blame me if it's sold out though :-)

You're post really didn't reassure me. I'm able to pay it up in full through Paypal in two and a half weeks. Which is really making me nervous as of now because it's going to be really tight possibly with how the box is or isn't selling! :|

I'm surprised to hear that. But hey, good for him. 1000 x 250 euro

 That would be nice...

No not 250 Euro. You have to subtract the production costs, the Distribution, the trading costs, VAT, fees , and he must pay Sony. After this he will have near 30-40 % from the retail Price. But don´t forget: He must pay all collaborators

From Download by ITunes or Amazon he will get around 20%

Would have been great if he'd got together with Chvches - they are making some OUTSTANDING synth based music!

Yeah, it doesn't work that way. Jarre is not at liberty to pay Sony. Sony pays *him* and his collaborators.

Yeah right ..maybe. (?) We do not know. Maybe he has a contract guaranteeing him a fixed amount and / or perhaps a share of the sale proceeds. Maybe not..... At least Sony also wants to earn Money and take a little risk. :)

A slightly more detailed (compared to myplaydirect website) description of the regular fan box (from official facebook page)
1. CD: The Album Electronica 1: The Time Machine in a 4 pages CD - Size Digipack as available in general retail. The Digipack comes with Spot UV gloss varnish and embossing on the facing, a 12 page booklet and 1 disc. Note that when combining the Vol. 1 + Vol. 2 Digipacks, this unique product appears as one complete Digipack.

2. LP: two LPs, black, heavyweight 180g. Vinyls are held in a Gatefold Sleeve. This set is also available in general retail.

3. Fan Cards to Download special content:

3 a: Download Card: specially designed transparent plastic card incl. a scratch off download code. The download code grants access to a page to download the full album and continuous album mix only once!

3 b: Bonus Content Card: specially designed transparent plastic card incl. a scratch off download code. The download code grants access to a page to download bonus content such as Remixes, Track by Track Stories video content and more yet to be defined. As Vol. 2 is currently in final production, the full content will be revealed early 2016 to make sure fans get the absolute best audiovisual content available. Details revealed once confirmed.

4. Photos: 3 high quality photo cards, A4 size in glossy varnish
What does that mean? "Note that when combining the Vol. 1 + Vol. 2 Digipacks, this unique product appears as one complete Digipack."
