I chose credit card as the payment method in July (for Part 1, in late August for Part 2) since I got the impression that using PayPal would have withdrawn the funds immediately.
In any case, I'm not particularly sure if the current largest charge on my bank account is for the deluxe set (and if it's not, well, that'd be far more worrying
) as it still doesn't match the price tag in the confirmation email I got in July. Haven't received any messages from MyPlayDirect concerning the order either.
Honestly, it's quite worrisome especially when you keep in mind what happened with the Vinyl Factory releases in the summer. First delayed, then shipped without any inner sleeves or sleeve protection, with pieces of sawdust on the records... I thought they'd manage some degree of standards considering they also made those ridiculously expensive Pet Shop Boys special vinyl sets in the past.
No idea why there's a lot of carelessness in the air with these new JMJ releases, but I really hope I'm gonna have my deluxe boxset in pristine condition on the 16th or at least next week (I bought the Queen boxset and while it appears to be mostly pristine - haven't been able to listen to them yet - the outermost cardboard cover was crumpled under the heavy box itself, so minus points to Amazon.co.uk for that).
And where is that Paris La Defense extended anniversary edition on BluRay anyway?
Yeah, I know that's never going to happen.
