The second booklet contains the artwork of the posters which were made for the tour.

Here's the 1989 version:
cic1989.mp3

And here the new master:
cic2022.mp3

It' sounds like there's too much compression on it.

And here's the 2014 master which is much less compressed but has a brickwall master:
cic2014.mp3
Yeah, I'll take the 1982 vinyl version with all its crackles any day over the 2014+2022 versions : \

Seeing the footage still in it's original rough shape is disappointing.
It's hard to believe that footage is still seemingly rotting away in the vaults.

Hearing that 2014 version, even for a few seconds... Shudder...

Been through it on audacity. Its bullet tight. Any discrepancies are something else at fault. Looking forward too seeing what they do with future remasters. :D

It's a step in the right direction al right. Well, the compression is too much. Like you said, it's like a template they've put over every track.

The poster that comes with the 2LP edition is great. It's a 24 inch by 36 inch fold out double sided poster with two poster designs on it. The one on page 2 of the new CD booklet and the one on page 4-5 in the new CD booklet. Pretty cool.

Listened to this on Apple Music today. Found it an improvement on the last version, with much improved, punchier bass and better stereo separation. Almost had to get down with my bad self during MF2. But Souvenir? oh dear, that sounds bl**dy terrible, like someone is constantly twiddling with the fader all the way through. Rest of the album though, is great.

Anyway, what difference is there with the record store exclusive version - or have I misunderstood, is the vinyl ONLY available on record store day?

I don't have the 2LP edition but it's cool for the poster...
And all the contents of two booklets are include anyway ?

We can dream but if you say me that the quality of the vinyl was better than the 2 CD edition... I'll take it !

I hesitate seriously to ask a refund to the Fnac for the CD edition giving as reason : because that hurts my ears !!!

The first CD booklet is the vinyl inner sleeves plus the gatefold photo, just like before. The second booklet has five poster designs, the vinyl poster has two of these in huge format. So in conclusion: the CD has more image content.
