Yesterday I came back online after a few days' pause.
First of all, thanks to GeeJee - for giving us an ability to meet each other at the new forum, discussing about JMJ and about us; and to Marcin for giving me a link to this site.
Well, I think that many of you know me just a bit, especially my little 'audio works'.
I'm Mike, 22 years old, a student of 'University of cardinal S. Wyszynski' (aka UKSW - a shortcut of the name in polish language), self-taught keyboard player (I''ve been in touch with the keys since 2003).
My 'studio' is very small: M-Audio Keystation Pro-88 connected via USB to the PC with installed software synths and sound modules (total about 230 GB of data) - all the software is taken from different p2p apps. I know it's awful, but I'd like to get the taste of many good sounds in an easiest possible way to use it at home... and to be sure it's worth the money if I decide to buy it and use it well commercially in the future (for example if I realise that I'm ready to produce an album and sell it for money I'd love to buy Atmosphere, Korg VST synths, Steinberg's Hypersonic or IK Multimedia products... but I won't buy Reason because I just don't like it... etc.). I could buy hardware synths but they are much more expensive and my room is very small (about 8 square meters) (and I hate cables messed in the back of my PC).
I'm not gonna promise too much. I was writing a few months ago about my plans (i.e. Oxygene covers) and my own website and it didn't happen. But I'll do my best to write here as often as possible.
