In fact they didn't - they were obliged under their remit to have at least one news headline an hour - JMJ concert or no. It was fortunate that a major global event didn't transpire during the concert or it may have had even less coverage. This was the first time Euronews had devoted such a large amount of airtime to a non-news event.
