Jean-Michel Jarre in an ultra-mastered and resolutely human show. Last night on the stage of AccorHotels Arena there was nothing less than a legend of electronic music.
Report about the Paris concert on Stern.de (in German) plus 360° video of Oxygene 17: http://www.stern.de/kultur/musik/jean-m ... 38610.html
The article states the video is from Paris, but seen that a number of cameras has been used, it might as well be the already announced video from Amsterdam.

Oxygene

No matter what computer or phone I try to watch this on it's super laggy and nothing lines up. Sucha bummer because it looked cool when it was streaming live.

Interview - PIRELLI.COM / WORLD - 15/12/2016
Jean–Michel Jarre: Innovation in Music
“The French electronic music composer Jean–Michel Jarre was born in 1948 in Lyon, had studied music under Pierre Schaeffer and has ever since collaborated with the music world’s most important inventors and pioneers. Max Dax met Jarre in Berlin to reminisce and discuss 68 years of constant challenge and innovation in music. The result is a unique assessment on the music industry, with its changes and innovation, and his own career, from one of the world's most influential musical innovators.”
“I am currently traveling through Europe presenting my two Electronica albums as well as the third part of my Oxygène series. I really like being on tour. I’ve been on tours in the past and I’ve given some spectacular site-specific concerts. But only now, well into the 21st century, am I able to spontaneously change visual or audio elements of my show if I want to because the technology has finally caught up with my needs as a spontaneous musician. This is the first tour where I can relax and have fun on stage because I can rely on elaborate and sophisticated technology that allows me to be a human being. And that’s why my current tour is so satisfying and inspiring for me: I can react to my ideas and feelings without having to worry whether things are doable or not anymore. It might sound bizarre, but thanks to technology I am no longer a slave to technology.”
It's about time that electronic innovator Jean-Michel Jarre was invited to sit at the top table with Kraftwerk, argues Jeremy Allen after watching him play live

IMHO Jarre has always been on top of EM along with Kraftwerk since 1976… Except considering they were only two with Michel Geiss and them four, he can be considered twice stronger than the germans separetly…
