Well, from what we´ve heard from the Teo&Tea teaser, it sounds pretty much soft-based!
The drums are "soft" and some (if not all) synth sounds, sound "soft" to me as well!!
But I do hope there´s some "real" synths in the rest of the album!

Why not 100%? I like to keep a small (10%) open mind for some analog instruments or voices aswell.

The whole bitching about soft-synths is ridiculous - most of you wouldn't be able to tell Pro-53 from Prophet V in the mix. I couldn't care less what actual gear JMJ uses in his new album. Also the "please not 100% ARP 2600" is laughable - as long as the track is good and well arranged with decent sounds who cares if it's done with one synth only? end of rant

Today it is still possible to play an ARP2600 or VCS3, even after 40 years...
Tell me the truth, do you expect to be able to play those soft-synths in 40 years time, or 10 for that matter? Did you try to open a WP5.1 document lately? That's my biggest concern with those programms, shared by many....
Think about it will ya before you call us idiots and ridiculous....

To a certain point I agree with you Jote.
It can be difficult to point out what synths a musician has used if you don't know their working methods and don't find it interesting, but I think a track is more unique if you know that it has been made using these vintage synths.
A Renault will never be a Porsche, if you get what I mean, however they are made for the same purpose... being able to go from A to B.
As we know that JMJ has used several of the classics and hardware synths, it is just not the same knowing that everything would be doen i nReason for instance.
