Competitiviness may be stronger then one would think.
Mike O, Vangelis, Kraftwerk and JMJ they were popular around the same era.
Long before the internet they were locked in separate studios across the world with different record labels that wanted profits out of their music. The only thing they really knew about each other's music came through the radio and
eventually out to the record shops and what they heard from their record company that he and he was selling grotesque amounts of records. Maybe it created a competition-like way of judging each other's music?
Will we ever see them cooperate on the same tracks? The realistic answer is no, never.
