I feel Moon Machine fits more as Calypso part 4.
It doesn't fit that well Zoolook nor Rendezvous.

Just one question about Moon Machine first edition on 1986 Rendez Vous IV Maxi Single.
Is this sounds like Best of IMAGES Version?

If you read a little earlier in the forum (page 7 or 8 I think) you'll see it's basically all but confirmed the version on the remaster was based on the Images version, complete with a slight remnant of the transition from the previous track at the very beginning.

I feel Moon Machine fits more as Calypso part 4.
It doesn't fit that well Zoolook nor Rendezvous.

That wouldn't make sense though given it was made during the Zoolook sessions. The RV4 single featured it as a B-side and Calypso sampled it but otherwise there's no connection.

Does anybody know the name of the typeface used on the Zoolook cover art? It's the same one used on Magnetic Fields and on Revolutions, with the capital 'A' looking like a triangle and the 'E' using a floating upper line.

But yeah, to fully confirm, the 1986 maxi single version of Moon Machine is the same as on Images except for the start which is more or less a basic fade-in)

"We came up with the idea of a magazine to promote the album. It was sent to record company staff, radio stations etc. So the public never really got a chance to see it. This eight page magazine would have made a great insert with the album release"

Yes, yes it would. And it would still make a great insert with the 40th anniversary re-release. As a tribute to Kate, and to a landmark album, is there still time to include this with the vinyl, due out at the start of 2025?

That would be the best thing from this release. I would actually buy it, damn the sound quality.
