I think there are 3 kinds of 3d-glases available:
1. cyan/red
2. green/red
3. blue/red
I know, that the 2nd one doesn't work well. About the 1st and the 3rd I have no information.

I have seen some 3D glasses with something that looked brown/brown. I think it was the Tycho Brahe Planetarium in Copenhagen or a 3D cinema in Berlin.

Maybe if you use an LCD screen (try it on a laptop for example).
I haven't got the package myself, but I'm going to try out some different configurations if I have it.

I've heard the 3D can be viewed better on LCD screens, like laptops are using (and by using the glasses too, of course).
And those Philips 3D TVs might work of course.

Couple more tips everyone:
1: Put on glasses
2: Cross your eyes
3: Stick your tongue out and to the side
4: Turn the TV upside down
5: Bounce the TV image in a mirror, make sure it's upside down and watch the mirror, with your eyes crossed, tongue stuck out and the heater turned all the way up.
Works for me.....

Oh yeah! It sounds like a good idea. But you forgot something: You could eat your shorts while watching TV/mirror
