I have just tried the 3D again on a smaller screen with a differant pair of 3D glasses and I find it works a LOT better. The glasses I used were from my 'Duran Duran Live From London' set which are a lot darker when compared to those you get with the 'Oxygene 3D' set. The darker lens does give a better 3D representation.

I did originally think when I first opened up the Oxy 3D that the lenses looked on the light side.

Just a thought. Would putting on both pairs of glasses(I've heard there are 2 pairs) produce a better effect since then lenses would be darker?

Had that idea too, but cannot test that, because I don't have the oxygene 3d box yet

I tried it before. No better effect! Yesterday I had the idea to change the color settings on my TV to get a better result by using the origin glasses, but it was to late to try it.

As daft as it may seem, I just tried it with the two pair if glasses and it does improve the image - a little

Someone must have ball's up at EMI to have these crappy glassses put into the packaging.
