What's the problem? All 3D films look weird without the glasses due to the 3D layers.

That's not what's "wrong" with those pictures, the 3D bit works fine most of the time. The problem is the "horizontal lines", best shown in the stripes on his adidas anorak.. and the fact claude's skull is "layered instead of round... Please tell me you notice it...

Just click on the image for an enlargement dude.. you can't mis it.. It's a horrible mistake

Here's an example of the red channel on both 3D (left) and 2D (right) version..

the lines..

Since it's just the red channels you eliminate the 3D factor...

Please can somebody confirm that CD in 2D DVD edition is in SACD+CD format?
I have read it here:
http://oxygene3d.com/oxygene2d.php

In other versions SACD is not mentioned. It means that simple CD edition or 3D edition has normal CD only?

It's an ugly mistake in the text. There's no SACD in these DVD sets. :wink:

although they're high definition recordings. :wink:
Thanks Velodynamic. It´s a pity, my SACD player is crying ... :-)

Yes. That's a huge problem with the 3D version. I have nearly decided to not view the 3D version because of the problems with the 3D (as described by Antigoon). But also because there are problems with the distance between the 2 pictures (the red and the blue).. Have a llok at the first picutre Antigoon shows. Look at the lamp on the right side of Claude. My eyes can't "focus" the 2 pictures together. I have tried infront of my PC and infront of my TV but it's the same. But the 2D version is great :D

I'm thinking about buying the 2D edition because of the Oxygene Earth video and the 5.1 mix if the album. But then I'll have 2 editions of the CD. But that's only a minor problem. (I really enjoy to have the Aero DVD running at my PC when I'm working. Then I'm minimizing the DVD-player and then just have the sound coming from my 5.1 system.

But well. I'm satisfied with the buy since the CD is great but the music on the DVD is also funny to hear. But I think I'm going to buy the 2D-edition.

The 3D DVD/CD Version has the 5.1 mix as well!

And this you are telling me NOW!! :shock:

:lol:

...well who cares. It's a nice collectible thing to have bought both of them. You're talking about the studio recording with a dts option, yes? :wink:

Couldn't this special TV with a 3D screen have another way of reading the signals from the DVD?
If there's a huge mistake going on with the stereoscopic 3D picture it is really sad. Thanks dude they made it old fashion 2D aswell.
This is why the full HD 1920x1080p 24 fps bluray/hddvd is the best option so far. :wink:

Hahaha....

I've been repeating it on different threads in the Forum but no one wants to listen... :P

3D +2D DVD/CD Limited Edition
DVD = 5.1
CD = 24 Bits / 96 KHZ

says it right on the back of the box. So no need to buy the 2D DVD or the CD version.

Yes, the 3D edition doesn't have Oxygene new master recording DTS/5.1. So the 2D DVD has that advantage.

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if the 3D video is suitable to play on 3D TV's? Or is that a completely other format?

Thanks,
Sawyer

isn't the first picture showing "interlaced", whereas the second one is showing "progressive"?

as far as I have read so far, yes. But I can be wrong... with "3D TVs", are you referring to the Philips 3Dwow displays and such?

Noobs.. sigh.. :pwned:

Short answer: No. (it's the exact same frame, if it was interlacing the 2D frame would suffer aswell...)
