ADE was sold out fast enough. And Bratislava showed the audience is still there.

As a concert organizer, it could be really fine to negotiate and book artists and bands for the future, e.g. next year, with this economic backgroung going on, with oil shortage, etc....

In Bratislava there were allegedly 100 000 people, but it's hard to verify that. I think that for paid concerts, Jarre can expect a maximum of 10 to 15 thousand spectators, depending on the country and city.

But seriously: I do agree with you, but I also think JMJ has entered this "legendary" phase where he's regarded as an important person for a younger generation. You can see this reflected in articles and promotion. Festivals like Glastonbury have a Legendary slot for these kinds of acts. If promotors bank on that, you can rail in a lot of people.

Jarre hasn't performed at any major well-known global festival since Coachella. Today he has a good product in the form of a new mobile stage and collaboration with Kvant, so a big festival could take advantage of this. Perhaps negotiations for performances next year are already underway.
Glastonbury would definitely give him a significant boost in popularity. However, such festivals generally prefer singers over instrumental music, unless it's an electronic music festival, like Ozora.

I guess they have a timetable - more or less - ready for '27, regarding dates of the tour....just it's still time to cover them up.

Obviously they want to create FOMO.

The concert by Jean-Michel Jarre in Valencia scheduled for 8 July at the City of Arts and Sciences has changed location and will now take place at Marina Norte, which will become the main venue of the festival.

It's being said how the aviation is affected on reducing volume of fuel. Hope it really won't affect on any level the tour as the team gonne use air transport too...
