My point?

Speaking only for myself, I have always admired JMJ more as a composer and "sound colorist" rather than for his playing ability. So, the fact that maybe he's out of practice or simply isn't that good of a straight "keyboard player" isn't that much of a bummer for me. I appreciate that he's taken the risk personally and professionally to do "Oxygene" live in the manner he's now doing, I think it shows a lot of courage and desire to share his art with the fans...

Just in case, found very strange that during Oxy 4 main lead , JMJ sometimes forgot to push "wind-generator" button, but we can hear the effect...

Indeed, very well said.

Afterall, Jarre wrote those tracks and at the end of the day now matter what anyone else thinks or says, he plays them how HE wants to, when he wants to and in what manner suits him. So who are we to dictate to him how they should sound/be played.

Well he is still a keyboardplayer and we have seen him play. I don't see him just as a composer but as a musician.

ah... i really dont understand the fans sometimes.. after complain and complain and complain about the fact that JMJ live concerts were only playback, now they complain and complain and complain .. and complain that he playback 10% ( or wharever ) of the live concert...

if i was JMJ, i will return to playback and send all to hell.... really..


now back ontopic, i still dont receive the Oxygene cd/dvd !! arrggg.. !! i think its lost on the postal service.. damn, i hate xmas holidays..
