I read that Jean-Michel had ditched all his synths in favour of playing on a flute, saying "Im too old for handling these heavy keyboards. A flute can easily fit into a shoulder bag"

rumour goes that JM will release a new studio album quite soon, somewhat around New Year..... fact will be that the album won't be out before summer / fall of 2007....

PARIS MATCH Reports that French Rock Musician and British Actress Charlotte Rampling are to 'put the past behind them' in a dramatic u-turn for their relationship. The Couple divorced in 1997. Rampling has postponed her wedding to JEAN-NOEL TASSEZ indefinately. They are reported to be happy to be back together. One issue still to be resolved is Jarre's marriage to ANNE PARILLAUD.

This is interesting, but our local paper has printed a list of Xmas 2006 contenders and Jarre is one of them. Could this be the single released that has been mentioned previously by Jarre?. He has said that he will release a single at the end of this year from the new album.

He is dueting with Roy Wood & The Wombles to release a [quote] unique [unquote] version of I Wish It Could Be Christmas (everyday) (Virus Polar Remix)

Should he? I believe he will release a single at christmas, but I don't think he's gonna remix old songs of others. That's just not JMJ.

Also, Jarre has revived Pierre Schaeffer with the power of his 270 Macintosh computers, and he will be featured on the new album as well as the new "Beating The Dead Horse-xygene Tour" of 2008.
